The Utah Department of Transportation has a long standing history of reducing traffic congestion. As part of the TravelWise program launched a few years ago, UDOT has linked traffic congestion relief to energy savings and improved air quality. Presently, UDOT is building partnerships throughout the State and seeking innovative ways to reduce single occupant vehicle trips while continuing to serve the mobility needs for the State of Utah.
InterPlan is proud to have been a part of the TravelWise program from inception and remains a key part of the program today. By working with national and even international experts, InterPlan assisted the Utah Department of Transportation develop a Strategic Plan for the TravelWise roll-out. InterPlan continues to be part of the team of public relations and facilitation specialists while ensuring that TravelWise programs remain on track to meet measurable goals.
