Davis/Weber East-West Study

davisweber_east-west_study_printnettedProject Summary

InterPlan was selected as the prime consultant to perform an east-west transportation study for northern Davis County and Weber County. As part of 2007 Senate Bill 108, UDOT was required to perform similar transportation studies in all major counties within Utah. Major issues in Davis and Weber County involve the tie in of planned facilities with proposed north south facilities such as Legacy Parkway, US-89, and improvements to I-15. The study involved extensive travel modeling, public involvement, and display of technical information. This project involved the development of alternative long range transportation visions for the study area and resulted in a comprehensive vision incorporating highways, transit, and non-motorized trails designed to improve east-west transportation.
