Project Summary
Through a federal earmark, UDOT Region 3 and Provo City initiated an EIS of a major roadway connection from Provo Center Street to the Provo Airport. Travel demand modeling components and economic analysis of potential growth surrounding the airport were major considerations of the project purpose and need. Wetlands and other environmental issues also posed significant considerations for the proposed facility. In addition to travel demand modeling, InterPlan assisted in traffic operational analysis and air quality hot spot analysis.
