Project Summary
In 2005, InterPlan completed the first Transportation Master Plan and an update to the Capital Facilities Plan in Saratoga Springs City. As a new city with one of the fastest growth rates in all of Utah, much work was necessary to define roadway standards, analyze a network of functionally classified streets, develop a phasing plan, and integrate roadways with mass transit and non-motorized travel options. InterPlan developed roadway cross section costs and created a transportation impact fee process to assist the city in collecting revenue necessary to serve the transportation needs of new development.
