Project Summary
InterPlan prepared a corridor study for the proposed Western Corridor in the Dixie region of Utah. Growth in St. George is among the fastest in the country. Yet, the rugged environment of the desert landscape is home to several rare and endangered species unique to this region. Through extensive GIS analysis, InterPlan worked with local cities, the Bureau of Land Management, and several environmental resource agencies to define an alignment that minimizes environmental impacts and allows the advancement of a major transportation corridor.
