Traditionally, we at InterPlan celebrate together with an event in January, after the holiday rush. One year we went to The Homestead and another to Hotel Monoco where we dined and saw a play together. We've been snowmobiling at Daniel's Summit several times and once went to Las Vegas to watch Jay Leno. Several years ago we had a box for a Jazz game. President Matt Riffkin says, "We spend so much time working together, I feel it's important to socialize together too." Usually, kids and spouses are included to facilitate getting to know each other.
But, while winter in Utah is great, last year we tried an Autumn get together. After a company retreat/meeting on Friday, families joined InterPlan for a night at Snowbird. The next day was spent riding the mechanical bull, zipping the line and alpine sliding. Pictures exist of Matt biffing it on a wild turn!
Charles Allen, formerly from Albuquerque, became our tour guide this year when we went to experience their Balloon Fiesta. We got up very early to see the release of hundreds of balloons. Rob Eldredge, Michael Yount and Andrea Olson were bundled up for the morning send off.
